These mealworms are a little more broken than I expected and other bags I saw in the store could happen during transit , I think I was shipped with two other items in the box. I bought them for a chicken treat, yes the whole bag was gone in no time, the broken pieces are good for the chickens who will still eat the crumbs. I have reviewed bags of similar weight and they are comparable in price. This size is a good way to experiment with it and see if your birds like it, then I would suggest buying larger quantities to keep the price per ounce/pound down.
