Buy only genuine BMW crankshaft sensor.
Use only BMW crankshaft sensor. After installing a secondary crankshaft position sensor in my car, it was throwing multiple codes and would not start. After being lit, it only drove about a mile and shut down completely. I will never buy an aftermarket crankshaft sensor for a BMW. Only original.
