Review on πŸ”§ Enhanced Mortar Gun Drill Adaptor with Quickpoint Technology by James Julien

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bricklayer's fellow metalworker and multipurpose drill

Very good construction gun. It works very well for large gap seams. SPRAY ALL CONNECTIONS BEFORE STARTING FILLING. Keep the solution like cold yogurt. When the seeder slows down, empty the feed hopper back into the mixing hopper, add some water and mix again until a fluffy consistency is achieved. I was a beginner and figured it out pretty quickly. Run the drill at low to medium speed while using the pistol. The speed makes the Mortor almost stick out of the seam. MORTOR WILL DROP LET IT MOVE ALONE. The mortor fills up due to the filling pressure of the cannons. I used a tablespoon to smooth it out just when it was about to set (touch it and it should be easy to squeeze but not leak). Don't worry about it getting to you first, just bring a spray bottle of water and spray your joints before work. Remember to spray the seams with water before starting construction. Leave the joint for 1 to 2 hours at 70 degrees + days. Then use a small wire brush to smooth down the seams and remove any streaks. Remember that even after the grout has started to set, it will still work. With your spray bottle, you can use your masonry brush to achieve even finer detail. This will look and feel like a more solid joint. Much luck

Pros
  • Speeds up grouting by 5x for all types of masonry joints
Cons
  • Out of fashion
