Review on CURT 59190 4-Pin Wiring Harness with Powered 3-to-2-Wire Splice-in Converter for Trailer Tail Lights by Lild Zimmerly

I bought this wiring harness for a 2019 Ford EcoSport. I went through the process of removing clips, panels and disconnecting wires. Problems were encountered when trying to test each of the wires to determine the left/right/running/stop lights. The tester I bought was too big to test the needles so I tried testing them with a sewing needle. After a few hours and some discussion with a mechanic friend, I decided this was not for the amateur auto mechanic. I had two choices: return the harness and go to the dealer or find a local mechanic to fit it. I went with the second option and it ended up costing me probably as much as going to the dealer because they had the same issues. I do not recommend buying this product and I always advise anyone to go to a dealer to get OEM equipment installed by the manufacturer. Ultimately, you'll be glad that it's certified hardware and you can always fall back on it if you run into any issues.
