RELIABLE POWER. This powered 3-to-2-wire taillight converter provides a dependable splice-in trailer wiring harness option, if a CURT custom trailer wiring harness is not available for your vehicle. STANDARD OUTPUT. This tail light converter converts the 3-wire vehicle electrical system to standard 2-wire trailer wiring and provides a standard 4-way flat socket to connect the taillights, brake lights and turn signals for towing. COLOR-CODED WIRES. To make installation faster and easier, this trailer wiring converter splices into your vehicle using color-coded wires (7.5 amps signal circuit, 7.5 amps taillight circuit). READY TO INSTALL. This trailer light converter comes ready to install on your vehicle. It includes a wiring kit to establish a connection to the vehicle battery, as well as snap locks for secure connection of the wires. No heavy-duty flashers required. WEATHER-RESISTANT. Works great - connectors make it easy to connect to your .

Works great - connectors make it easy to connect to the wiring. Note that to do this you need to connect a fuse directly from the battery to this box on the back of the car.

Initially it was very easy to set up for my 2012 Chrysler T&C. It connected well and I did everything as suggested and it worked. Fast forward two years and the trailer has a headlight on the whole time. Unplugging the trailer doesn't stop the battery from draining and leaves me stranded. After buying a new battery I found myself in a dilemma again. I then checked everything else for shorts to no avail, so I ended up taking everything apart to check the black control box. NOT as easy with external accessories

I bought this wiring harness for a 2019 Ford EcoSport. I went through the process of removing clips, panels and disconnecting wires. Problems were encountered when trying to test each of the wires to determine the left/right/running/stop lights. The tester I bought was too big to test the needles so I tried testing them with a sewing needle.
