Initially it was very easy to set up for my 2012 Chrysler T&C. It connected well and I did everything as suggested and it worked. Fast forward two years and the trailer has a headlight on the whole time. Unplugging the trailer doesn't stop the battery from draining and leaves me stranded. After buying a new battery I found myself in a dilemma again. I then checked everything else for shorts to no avail, so I ended up taking everything apart to check the black control box. One of the connection indicators always stayed on. I had to disable this block to protect myself from battery drain again. The lifespan of the control unit could be two years. Beware.
