Decent image and hardware quality

This flexible and clean device is suitable for installation in any type of vehicle. The resolution looks decent (why are all dash cam systems based on 90's tech?!) There's an annoying "STOP" in the recommendations that keeps flashing red, which I think makes them pretty annoying. many challenging surfaces while remaining discreet. It should be relatively flat and not have rubber washers on it to cover the gaps. However, the use of the side camera, the app that interests me the most, is limited. I wanted to use them as blind spot side cameras mounted on a mirror. The problem with my setup is that the mirror housing doesn't provide enough upward angles for the camera to get a full side view. it usually points to the ground and ends at the rear bumper. I think it's perfect for parking and avoiding curb swings, but not very useful when driving. I'll try to find another place to mount it. The nice and thin cable is long enough to get into the car without a full size RCA plug. That's great if you don't want to drill big holes, but the 22mm mounting size will do a little damage. Overall I like this device. Excellent assembly, nice form factor, decent quality. Requires a massive mounting hole but has good thin wires. The angle is good, but you can't set too extreme an angle to suit all use cases.

Pros
  • 22.5mm flush drill with full metal body and 360 degree swivel lens for better viewing. Stealth mount for your car.
Cons
  • Modern
