Installed them on my Jeep's fender flares and front panel. The drill bits included in the kit don't cut the metal for long, but they do the job. The cameras come ready to install, if you drill the hole correctly you will need some force to snap it into place. Easily adjustable with the tool provided. The only downer is that the picture quality is not the best, but still very good and clear for my purposes. I don't watch TV so it's ok. :)

Very good camera for the money! Very intuitive connection. Wiring takes a bit (depending on the car), but I'd take care of the hassle with a wireless camera. The picture quality during the day is surprisingly good. The night image does have some digital noise, but that's to be expected as there are no LEDs (I've tried cameras with both - the regular white LEDs light up every time you shift into reverse and they're not as efficient as those IR LEDs are pretty efficient, but they make it worse…

This flexible and clean device is suitable for installation in any type of vehicle. The resolution looks decent (why are all dash cam systems based on 90's tech?!) There's an annoying "STOP" in the recommendations that keeps flashing red, which I think makes them pretty annoying. many challenging surfaces while remaining discreet. It should be relatively flat and not have rubber washers on it to cover the gaps. However, the use of the side camera, the app that interests me the most, is limited.
