Review on 🚗 CURT 58000 Easy-Mount Trailer Wiring Connector Mounting Bracket for 2-Inch Receivers, 4 or 5-Way Flat, 6 or 7-Way Round Connectors by Ron Kishore

I bought a new Curt class 3 coupler for my 2018 Honda Pilot and needed a solution to install a round 7 pin electrical connector. I've never dealt with body drilling and it's generally not very strong (screws to plastic) which is why this device is on my list. Installation was very easy considering the hitch and wiring harness were Curt brand. The unit attaches to the hitch by squeezing the outer frame. For my installation I had to use one of the spacers that came with it. On my particular setup, the mount seems a little far from the back of the car to me, but that's only because the hitch sticks out a bit. MUCH better fit and finish (although oddly it's still Class III but rated for a 600lb tongue weight compared to the Curt's 900lb), BUT also about double the price.
