I've been using this lens for about 6 months and I can safely say it's one of my favorite lenses I've used. Originally I have Bought this lens for my Sony A6000 for a trip to Japan as I was expecting to see narrow streets and tall buildings. The 12mm focal length and F2.0 aperture is such a great combination that it never stopped capturing what I wanted and what I had in mind, rain, light Looking at the photos at night they are surprisingly sharp around f4.0 and even at f2.0 you only see a slight vignetting in the corners I didn't use a lens hood very often either, so I basically left it without a bag.As far as manual focus goes, it's almost a set and forget about it with such a long focal length. Just set it to infinity and it will basically keep everything in focus (not quite until it stops spinning, but slightly to the left t L shape on the body as it approaches infinity). I recommend this lens for those who want to photograph cityscapes, landscapes, real estate, etc. It's really not intended for portraits or group photos, as distortion is undesirable. Therefore.
