Review on BOSCH TS1007 Dado Insert: Enhance Your Woodworking Performance with this Red Insert by Sean Bond

Benefits: Perfect for the slot of the Bosch 4100 table saw. Very stiff metal plate due to molded reinforcement underneath. Adjustment screws worked as they should. Fast delivery. Cons: The stuffed plate was not flat. It was slightly convex (humped). As the workpiece passed the slot cutter, the leading edge caught the trailing edge of the open slot. Of the 15 pieces, 15 are hanging. Not good. Not sure. Ironically, due to its inherent rigidity, I couldn't encourage its flatness - it's so durable. Solution: In development. I asked for a replacement insert. Not received yet. Comment: This Bosch TS1007 dado insert costs about $12. If the replacement turns out to be dead, I'll be happy. If not, I'll upgrade to a Peachtree Woodworking PW948 zero gap insert for about $24 shipping or a Leecraft BH-2 zero gap insert for about $35 (Prime).
