I just hooked this up to a MacAir 2014 Core I5 with Intel HD Graphics 5000 running the latest High Sierra. I needed to upgrade to 2 large displays in my home office, but my old MacBook only has a Thunderbolt/minidisplay port. This adapter solved the problem. YET, the display seems to work seamlessly with my keyboard and mouse, which is a must for my graphic design work. There is no noticeable lag and the screen resolution looks great. If you have a Mac and need an additional monitor, you need this adapter. When setting up the adapter, make sure to give it all permissions in your Mac's security settings throughout the startup and restart process. If your display won't turn on during the initial setup, make sure you've granted access to the display adapter.
