Review on Power Stop KOE2742 Autospecialty Front and Rear Brake Kit - OE Rotors & Ceramic Pads for Effective Braking Performance by Clinton Youmans

Written in response to a review for a 2008 Accord EX V6 3.5L replacement. The brakes are excellent. Four individually wrapped discs and a set of brake pads for the front and rear were delivered, each individually wrapped. Good stopping power and the pads come with silicone grease for the caliper guides. What you need to know before you start if you've never done it yourself; This kit does not include pad springs. So if you don't see them like I did, you're out of luck (although since they aren't shown, I can only blame myself). Most of your bolts are tighter than the 80 ft/lb torque spec requires, so a switch would be a good idea. Sometimes the slide bolt and caliper mounting bolt turn together - have a wrench handy. This set comes with two different pad clips and while the smaller clips fit on the "pillar" bracket they will rub against the rotor and cause an awkward squeak. Here's another piece of feedback that someone complained about a very bad squeak. I think that was her problem. Photos in the review to compare bracket sizes. The smaller ones were more steel colored and the larger ones that fit me were brass colored. After the exchange everything was great. Definitely recommend or reorder.
