John is right on every count. However, I need it for the HVAC, for example to work with very low air speeds. The values on the display change frequently, this is helped by the averaging function that may be present on more expensive models. The gauge is easy to use, well built and has an impact resistant body. I bought it for its accuracy (obviously the same as more expensive models) and solid construction. There is also a data acquisition port. I like the meter and would buy it again. Hope that helps.
