I usually wear the Vionic 8.5 Medium and sandals. Size 8 slippers. I really liked these light and airy slippers for summer walks. I ordered 8.5. They are difficult to put on because the opening goes to the ankle. But after some twitching, I succeeded. At an 8.5 my toes were toeless almost to the bottom of the boot and the arch was set back towards the heel so my foot was not properly positioned over the arch for support and comfort. I sent them back and ordered 9. Although the sock was better, I couldn't wear it with every sock because of the small hole. And to my disappointment, the arch was still oriented toward the heel, so it wasn't supporting my foot in the right place. I returned them too.
