Obviously I didn't think of using this cover on my computer. On the left, the adapter is just under a quarter of an inch longer than needed for use without removing the case. on the right side the adapter is also a bit longer. The case is a thin, clear, standard Speck plastic case. If you don't want to take your case off every time you use this key I would consider finding another one and checking its length before ordering to make sure it will fit. This adapter is almost useless to me as I don't remove the case every time I need to use it. Pretty much junk unfortunately in the drawer.
