while, as advertised, it is a wooden block cube.

Although as advertised the log cube has a sanded smooth finish, mine had a few dents dents deep scratches. Corners and edges were broken off. If I were to use it, it would have to be putty filled, sanded, or chiseled. all which I didn't want to do as I don't have access to a wood workshop. If you're looking for a prefabricated block of wood, this isn't it.
