This item flickered and then the TV screen went black. This lightning bolt destroyed the HDMI input on my TV. I checked the TV's input with the Fire Stick and of course that HDMI input no longer works. iView output now appears to be intermittent on HDMI (when using a different TV input). When I tested the cable TV tuner function, I noticed that the iView causes interference on the TV when it is close to the TV. At the time, the TV used its own antenna tuner, so this could be a sign of high frequency RF noise being emitted by the iView. I don't trust the quality of iView. He doesn't want other HDMI inputs to be damaged. It may have a bad ground, bad power supply, or some other problem. I am returning the iView and now need to purchase an HDMI switch to offset the issues this has caused.
