Review on πŸ’Ž Premium Cutting Performance: KEMPSTON 88034 Kempston Diamond Saw by Tim Ram

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked better than I expected!

I have to admit I was a bit hesitant in purchasing this hole saw as it had no reviews and the price seemed too low to be good. I bought it because it didn't require a separate pilot nozzle like the others and was deep enough to go through my DIY marble countertop where others have listed a maximum depth of 1 inch. When I received the Beat, I noticed that the build quality was down. not really hard work but I tried it quickly through a piece of marble. I worked flawlessly! I was very surprised! The instructions say to start with age and move vertically. Perfectionist to do it like this. Instead I drew a CAD drawing of the sink and faucet holes and my friend cut it out of 14 gauge steel with his CNC plasma cutter. This allowed me to use jigs with precisely spaced 1-1/8" holes to wind the bit in place without the possibility of it slipping. Worked great. I only had to drill 6 holes and the drill worked great. Goes without saying in my opinion, but just in case - make sure you always have water on it and don't go crazy fast! I would recommend this nozzle to anyone who needs multiple holes, but I would question its durability on the production floor. I wouldn't rate this five stars for a manufacturing establishment but for a craftsman like me I'm very satisfied and happy I went crazy with this purchase.
