I have gradually replaced all the light bulbs in my house with LEDs, allowing me to witness all the advances in LED lighting technology. The W-lite light is the right kind of lighting. When the package was opened everything was individually wrapped in bubble wrap. The luminaire consists of a back plate, to which the driver and LEDs are attached, and a cover, which is attached afterwards. Pros: Proper grounding Simple but effective design I prefer the cold light it comes with, but it's just a personal choice - easy to install! I had a couple of brackets (usually sold at your local department store) that required at least 2 people to install just to hold a couple of glass components in place by turning a screw. Here one person can install in about 10-15 minutes. Cons: - If there is a problem with the LEDs or the driver, replacing the lamp is easier than repairing it. If you are using an older lamp, you only need to replace the LED lamp. Yes, they should last for many years, but that's not my experience.
