I bought this along with a similar looking RSVP Endurance Stainless Steel Universal Lid with Glass Liner for 7-12" Pots to use on my old cast iron pans that at least one of them works. The two lids I received were actually identical, both made by the same company. So if you need that lid and want to save $2, order from this company, not another! This lid says it fits 7" pans but NOT my smallest pan, Griswold #5. When I measured the cap with a ruler, the innermost groove is actually 8 inches. However, they do fit in my large pots, Wagner 7A and Griswold #8, so I guess I'll keep them both. The quality is just OK (typical for Chinese production). I love that it has glass at the top so you can see the food inside.
