Review on ZHC Battery Equalizer/Balancer: Extend Battery Life in 48V Series-Connected Solar Systems by Floe Rankin

Ideal protection for two new 8A8D 12V battery packs connected in series for 48V. Solar and mains chargers didn't evenly distribute voltage on AGM batteries and some of them have almost 2 volts more! This would certainly ruin my $5,000 investment in a new battery. The battery bank is 1/4 of the system cost. It would be nice to have a few extra inches for the wires and 4 built in fuses along with the wires. These units do "exactly” what they promise. Balancing the battery voltages when charging and discharging. I'll order a spare or two to have on hand if they go bad and are discontinued. The entire self-sufficient solar energy system relies on these small balancers.
