I got this for outings with rain but could definitely use it as a backup layer in cooler weather. Haven't had to use it in the rain yet, I might report when I do. I'll probably spray it with a water repellent at some point, but would like to see how it performs out of the box first, out of my own curiosity. Putting the jacket in the storage bag is easy, I found that by folding it. in a third side to side forward then flip and fold 5-6 inches from the top when you get to the bag just put it in your pocket and flip it over and you are done. The bag has an internal zip and a small carrying handle. I fit perfectly in a jersey pocket. I'm 180lbs, 6ft 3in, 43in chest, probably considered slim, and US Med-Tag XL fits me, slim fit, not tight but loose enough to move and wear to breathe. The sleeves are quite long, as is the back.
