We love it. They don't retain odor like regular sponges and do a great job of cleaning dishes, pots and pans. If you're looking for a replacement sponge for cleaning items like countertops, this isn't it. It doesn't hold water well so it's not suitable for things that need wiping. If you have a dirty area of the countertop that needs cleaning this is fine, but for general wiping down tasks this is a poor choice. Because it's nylon, it doesn't retain odors and bacteria like regular sponges, and we don't replace them nearly as often as regular sponges. On the other hand, ordinary sponges are useful for a wider range of cleaning tasks. On the other hand, they're a lot more expensive than regular sponges, so I'm not sure if we're really saving money. If your only reason to use nylon sponges is the recent media hype about bacteria in sponges, you can google it. The study on which all of these articles were based included only 14 sponges, and most articles misinterpreted the results. While bacteria are present on common sponges, these are the same types of normally not fearful bacteria that we encounter throughout our lives.
