Broke for the second time! best for outdoor grilling and cooking

I really wanted to like this beast. I work a lot on the trail, and while it's tough, the first outing was in an area that we're reclaiming as arable. He dragged it across the ground, collecting bushes and the remains of blueberries and other shrubs felled by others. The next day, in the same place, the handle broke at the point where the upper part is screwed into the lower part. Simply by dragging! That screw connection must be incredibly weak! I would return it but really want to use it to clean the brush so I removed the T-handle from the broken off part, put a hardwood plug in what was then the top, put the T-handle on top, adjusted screw holes and drilled long enough, to keep this thing working. SOOOO disappointed and can't even get their investment back. I'm hoping that the shorter handle workaround works long enough to get some value.

Pros
  • patio, lawn and garden
Cons
  • some bugs
