I work from home as a consulting engineer in the telecom industry. I also do drawings for building cellular and appliance installations. I have this directional microphone on a double articulated arm mounted. This allows the mic to stay slightly above my seat and keeps the mic away from my monitors. The supercardioid pickup pattern picks up my voice so I can speak, look at my screens and have my hands free during remote meetings. Everyone says I do sounds great and I'm never asked to repeat what I've said The only complaint I have is what I've noticed that the Switch does not kill the microphone sound when using phantom power. On battery power, the on/off switch turns off the microphone audio, as expected. The microphone also works when mounted on the camera as it is very light. All necessary accessories were included, as well as a travel case.
