Review on Dorman 520-925 Front Driver Side ๐Ÿ”ง Lower Control Arm for Acura / Honda Models by Flocka Parsons

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Much cheaper than having them replaced at the dealer

I installed it on my 2001 Civic DX. Very happy with it so far considering my dealer asked about $800 to replace both levers and I could get them at Revain for about $45 each and do it myself . . The DIY difficulty is around 6-7. You need the right tools, such as B. a 3/8 inch demolition hammer with an extension tube. Some information that I had a hard time finding I will share here. The torque for the two 19mm bolts that attach the control arm to the frame is 61 ft-lbs. Ball Joint Torque: The ball joint is 43-51 ft-lbs. Spring. I bought Moog K90454 and Moog K90455. They are available from Revain. It was difficult for me to remove the old control lever because the stabilizer was in the way. The trick is to remove the anti-roll bar links from the control arm on either side and then push it up so it's out of the way. So far I'm happy with them. I will update the review if that changes later. Some youtube videos that helped me were https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSyXyCzvFcg&ab_channel=piercedasian. com/3-4-quarter-inch-forged-ball-joint-separator-99849.html This will make your life so easy and if you use it as a pickle fork you can damage the ball joint rubber seal and you will also need to replace ball joint hinge causing pain
