I had to replace my water bottle after years of service. I used it as a lane marker to help my daughter visualize parking spots. I mean it still held water but was pretty crushed so I figured my money's worth for the last 4-5 years and I bought some new spares. These HDPE bottles are very strong, more flexible than the colored versions and therefore resistant to cracking/breaking on impact. They're also a few ounces lighter if you're looking for pack weight savings. I will say that the ones I received seem noticeably thinner than the old ones.
