Review on WiFi router TP-LINK TL-MR3020, white by Krisha Kanth ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

I required a router to spread an iota across the nation to all of the devices that were accessible. Unfortunately, in 2022, not a lot of people write about the compatibility of various routers in evaluations; instead, most people talk about how well they operate with 3G modems. So, it took a significant amount of time to differentiate between the various models, and the MR3020 was chosen in a manner that was somewhat arbitrary. Hence, if any of the readers are in the market for a router for just such a purpose, they should not have any second thoughts about purchasing it because it is compatible with the Yot modem (I have LU-156). In addition to that, I have (purchased in October 2022) a brand new unit that does not exhibit any flashing all. Why did you choose MR3020 rather than another option? I was looking for something inexpensive because my router only needed to fulfill a single purpose, and I didn't require any of its other capabilities. As a result, everything with a price tag of greater than 1,500 was eliminated immediately. As a result of the overwhelming number of unfavorable reviews, Zukheli was discontinued as well, despite the fact that Iota sells it as a linked device. Asus-18 (I don't remember the letters), which was dropped because of the price. A massive amount of functionality is not required. Two models from Upvel; I was scared it would be a noname. As a consequence of this, I decided to chose by touch and placed an order for both this and the TRENDnet TEW-655BR3G. The trendnet seemed quite innocuous to the touch, but I was humiliated by the fact that neither the packaging nor the instructions made any reference to the fact that it is compatible with 4G modems. It was solely about 3G, and it only impacted American carriers like Verizon and AT&T. Nevertheless, the MR3020 was kept, and in addition to this, there were a great number of reviews written about it by evidently knowledgeable IT professionals (they begin on page 4), stating that the modem is being setup and flashed, etc. After inserting an iota into the small white device that was pulled out of a very beautiful (a la iPhone) white box (slightly shorter than a pack of cigarettes), the Internet appeared everywhere in the house without any settings at all (well, only entered the password on the tablet, and that was it). I didn't have to shaman at all. The signal strength is 90% while traveling through foam block walls (from one corner of the house to another, 15 meters in a straight line), as well as when traveling through wooden floors (9 meters). Cool. Advice for potential purchasers: Invest on a lengthy USB 2.0 micro USB cable (!). Within the kit, it is 30 centimeters, and the USB 1.0 connection from the mobile device does not function.

Pros
  • The quality on the outside, the ease of use, and the cost
Cons
  • We still haven't located it.
