Review on Showerhead Stainless Handle Control Regulator by Chris Elam

Thought I was missing an important feature not mentioned on the description page. Of all the notable features, any of which would justify the additional cost of this article, the main feature that has been omitted relates to the reason for considering such an article; to control the water flow. This product has the biggest hole in the ball compared to all the others. I haven't tested it but I would say the area is almost double that of any other product. This means that in the OPEN position, at full flow, you will get the maximum flow you would expect connecting anything to the source. Why would anyone buy smaller products that restrict your flow? the unit is my home builder who installed a faucet that only controls the cold water and NOT the flow rate. Turning the single knob gives you a full flow of cold water and then turning further counter-clockwise the water gets hotter. It's okay to fill a bathtub, but not to shower. As is often the case these days, NOBODY provides product specifications. But if you look at the details in the pictures on the description pages, you will see that this product is superior to others; will cost extra. You may be wondering why I only gave 4 stars. This was because they didn't include a washer with the product, just a thread tape. Duct tape (aside from being the thinnest threaded tape I've seen) isn't enough to stop a leak. A flat washer is essential if you're picky (like me) to ensure the control stick is in a logical, symmetrical and, well, cosmetically pleasing position. Thanks for a great product!
