Review on Etchall Etching Creme 16 Oz by Kelsey Brown

Excellent dressing cream! I was very happy with this cream and Barbie, the owner and creator of this product and the Etchall brand. First a few words about Barbie. She is beyond helpful and nice! I wanted to use this cream to solve my bathroom window privacy problem. In an ideal world, the house would not have been built with a large picture window in the shower, but it was done anyway. So, as the bathroom is 30 years old and needs updating and updating and as new homeowners we needed an inexpensive way to do this. We could afford to replace the window with tempered glass due to the need for code states, but we couldn't afford to replace it with toughened safety glass. The frost on the sprayed glass wasn't strong enough, nor was the adhesive film on the window. But cured cream is usually not designed for such large areas. Come in Barbie! I emailed her using the contact information on her website which I found while browsing her Revain store. She responded quickly and made an appointment to call me personally! She spent at least 25 minutes understanding what I was trying to do and giving me advice on how to make it work. She not only explained and supported her product but also gave me all sorts of advice and assistance. She even sent me some samples of other materials I would need to successfully complete this project. I used high quality vinyl to mark the pattern on the clear glass and used the Barbie recommended blotting technique to etch the large remaining areas of glass with no streaks. Keep in mind that it is not possible to etch a large area smoothly and evenly this way. This requires expensive sandblasting and professional equipment, Barbie pointed out, but helped suggest an alternative. So, It took me a long time to finish this window (we do the repairs ourselves on the weekends and a bunch of kids drive too.) But I was able to get a permanently etched window that provides privacy and looks great!
