so far this mount works great. This is a quality product that is noticeable right out of the box and after a month I can see that it will last a long time. I'm about to order another one for my wife's car. I'll probably reposition mine since I installed it in a spot where my speaker switch is blocking my view when I'm driving. I'll probably place it a little higher on the dash so it's closer to eye level and doesn't get blocked. I definitely recommend this mount if you are looking for a static mount. I have an iPhone X and I used the smaller magnetic mount on the back and it's lower so it doesn't block wireless charging. I haven't had any problems with falling off.
