Is it worthwhile to spend the money (40,000 for the PCT) on the device? If I had to choose, I'd say sure. Due to the fact that I have used Apple products myself, I can say with certainty that their products have a longer service life than Android ones do (at least until 2022). The smartphone from 2022 feels fantastic and almost brand new right now. What the droids that were released in that year are unable to brag about, unfortunately. So, the increased cost of maintaining an iPhone during its lifetime is completely understandable and acceptable.
