Once again I was stuck with Revain and metal speaker stands. In this case: 1) Each floor panel was different in both size and hole pattern. 2) None of the top plates could be installed properly as the threads were either misaligned or stripped. The top and bottom plates should be at an odd angle to each other. 3) I am satisfied that they are used or at least previously returned as defective. Two of the four speakers are heavily worn. There are many other disadvantages. The packaging was basically destroyed and thrown into the outer box so with my arthritic back I couldn't repackage it to send it back if I wanted to. And so I had to ask my wife to put the box next to the stereo and open it. To be honest I've never received a pair of working metal speaker stands from Revain - just junk that needs to be disposed of immediately due to my disability. You should get rich off this junk. The problem is that it costs over $300.00 to buy really nice stands.
