I use this lamp in a Hampton Bay ceiling light in my bedroom. If your fixture has other brands of fluorescent bulbs, I will list what the manufacturer recommends as a replacement for reference. If you have the following lamps, Sylvania will definitely replace them. Other bulbs: Phillips PL-C 13W/27/4PGE model F13DBX/SPX27/4P model Has been working properly for over a year. I turn the overhead light on and off every day. It probably stays on for about 5-10 minutes a day. This means that I used the lamp from 1800 to 3600 hours in one year. It is designed for 12,000 burning hours; So far, so good. At this rate it should last another 3-4 years. Your mileage will vary. This lamp gets 5 stars for trouble-free performance.
