Update: The lid has a faulty design. The lid literally falls off a hinge with every use. Weary! I resorted to adding wire on each side with glue to hold the lid in place. Everything is OK. I wouldn't call it new and improved. New and different problems. This is a regular trash can, but there are some design issues. The old one in the center of the lid clips wore out and eventually failed. I bought this to avoid this problem and figured the new way of installing the pockets would help. I like how the bags are supposed to be held, but the side clips or attachment areas won't snap back in place and the plastic pops out. Leave the lid ajar until you have enough dirt to hold the bag holder. It wouldn't be so bad if the stupid lid hadn't fallen off because of it. He lifts the lid slightly and the stupid thing falls off the pusher. Each time you have to glue the cover again. This is very annoying.
