I generally like the quality of the TV mount. I was looking for a mount that is thin as I wanted a very simple clean look. I didn't have to turn on the TV or anything, so that was fine. What attracted me to it was 1) the minimum distance to the wall and 2) the overall design of the mount. The TV I installed was a 65 inch LG OLED TV. Considering how thin the display is, I wanted something that wasn't very clunky, and I didn't want anything that would make the TV look like it was built into the wall nicely. that you can access the cables, and a built in bubble level to help keep the mounting bar level. I also like the single center screw that allows you to make sure the bar is level first before tightening the two screws in the insert bolts. The issues I had were that because the TV is _so_ close to the wall, access to the cables is incredibly tight. Obviously it depends on where your connections are on the TV. On my particular model, some of the connectors are on the back rather than the side of the display, making accessing the coax cable difficult even for my thin hands. It was also difficult to see where the cords were at the back. Trying to adjust them so they don't get in the way of the brackets and wall was quite a struggle. It's best to run the cables as best you can when the TV is off the wall and hope they don't get tangled up anywhere when you lift the TV onto the wall mount. that it only covers two bobby pins. In my case I have 16" OC studs but there is a stud in the middle of the wall which means if I want to center the TV on the wall I have to move the mounting bar and then move the TV. all the way to one side so the TV is centered. I have included a diagram to illustrate how I positioned the TV in relation to the mounting plate location. While I'm sure it's ok I wasn't entirely sure if this was acceptable as there were no instructions to indicate if this was appropriate or not. I put the two outer screws in the studs and in the middle I used a 75# drywall anchor as an extra measure. The result is good though. The final distance between the wall and the back of the TV is 2.5 inches, and from the wall to where the electronics are placed is about 0.75 inches. While there is an app to help you position the wall mount, I decided to just measure everything myself. I'm happy with the look, although there were problems with the installation.
