Dangerous, overheating and may cause fire
The product received did not have a 3.3V regulator in IC3 but instead had a 0 ohm resistor (see lower right corner of image). The picture on the parts page clearly shows the IC controller mounted on the board. When the power was turned on, the circuit board got very hot and could burn out if not turned off. Not only was this item different from the one pictured, it was clearly dangerous to use.
