I usually revisit when I'm really disappointed or extremely impressed. This kit is very impressive. The installation took about 20 minutes from start to finish. I actually had to reprogram the module, which took about 30 seconds and the instructions on how to do this are pretty clear in the manual. I usually buy from MPC for remote starting and even their painless wiring includes grounding and splicing, this kit from Start X was 100% plug and play. On my particular Silverado, I installed a "Remote Start Ready" module from the factory. So you might think that a factory configuration at the dealer would be cheap enough. It took the dealer more than $300 to enter the code into the module and link it to my key. keychain I did it with Start x for half of them and didn't have to spend extra time commuting and leaving my truck at the dealership for hours.
