Review on 💛 Hein-Werner HW93506 Jack Stands: 6 Ton Capacity, Blue/Yellow (Set of 2) by Charles Salgado

Of course, I have no way of testing if they can withstand 3 tons each (yes, not 6 tons each), but I can tell you that they look like they're sitting next to my old Chinese. cobalt 3 tons stands. I bought them because they were made in the USA (even though they belong to Shin Fu) and because I didn't want to trust my old ones anymore. As others have said, the packaging is terrible. The bottom of the coasters came out of the box and was badly scratched. Not a big deal but like another said we paid over $100 for it and should get a real box. The stalls themselves seem fine. The welds are decent (although not great) and the paint (apart from transport scratches) is reasonably appropriate. The small welded metal pieces under the "legs" are crooked and look pretty pointless. The metal wedge that engages the support teeth looks like something horrible rusted it and then painted it over. Although I don't think it was. It just looks like this. Overall I trust them because they are HUGE and made in America. I have not seen any reviews or negative information. However, for over $55 each, I expect better workmanship with a few spot welds and a better box. I'll try to add some photos. I've never done this before. Updated August 15, 2013. The price has ONLY gone up another $20. I suppose they will pack them better and send the cost to us? Also, I found the picture.
