Review on ๐Ÿ” [2021 New Elite] LAUNCH CRP123E OBD2 Scanner - Engine/ABS/SRS/Transmission Diagnostic Scan Tool with Battery Test, AutoVIN, 5" Touchscreen, WiFi Free Update - Car Code Reader for All Cars by Christopher Isaac

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Buyers beware - code readers and scan tools

I bought the CRP123E in December 2019 and returned it through Revain for a full refund within 3 days they are sure of it. Keep in mind this is not a complete list of vehicles as it is said to fit. No US support, your email inquiries will be sent to a "Hotmail" account, *look for it* under Warranty Information. He discovered that my 1997 Ford Aspire was a "Kia" and had no airbag or safety system. Current data only for Kia, it was a Ford Aspire. My 1996 Ford E250 Van also couldn't find a VIN and also didn't show SRS airbags or TCM or RWAL and only had live data on engine sensors etc. Updating didn't help. or. I only kept it for 3 days and sent it back. It's fun to use, but it doesn't work as advertised. The touchscreen was ok just not the quality or product supported in America. Speaking to Launch USA, they said they support CRP123, which like some other US companies is bought through Auto Zone or Nappa Auto Parts, but not E-bay or Revain. Not sure why or how this all works, but research b4 carefully when buying a scanner and beware of poorly written English in ads! It may just be the chatter required to weed out inferior products. rick
