This tool is very easy to use. Its value is in doubt. You can update it over Wi-Fi and send reports by email. Other than that, it's very similar to the Bluetooth micro-mechanical scanning tool you can buy for $20. reset to default. There is no operational data. Although it looks very nice, it's actually a very basic scanning tool that costs many times more than other comparable devices.

I used this to check the SRS airbag code on my 2006 GMC Sierra pickup - my old reader could only read engine codes. The SRS module was able to detect this and read my code. It automatically recognizes the VIN and has a vehicle information assistant (make, model, etc.) every time you connect it to a vehicle, which takes a little longer than I was hoping. First of all I have to say that this is an excellent value for money solution. The user interface is so difficult to explain. Some cars, especially those newer than 2006, are quite simple and connect to Vin automatically. While old ones or Toyota/Lexus are a pain.
