I seem to have a lot more work to do that needs some "finds " but that's good

Some of the documentation is a bit sketchy but is from my "Snap-On Brick" ( I'm retired and didn't need a newer scanner until I bought a new car!) - I think it has almost the same features, but again - it's brand new.1. The screen is a bit smaller than I imagined from the pictures - it's difficult when I'm using 4 traces on the charts. Identifying colors and what they represent can be a little MORE - old eyes and all! 2. The cord seriously needs to be a foot longer! 3. I may not know where the setting is, but I need a beep or two when I touch the screen hard enough for it to respond. Is there a way to print the screens directly as I see them? This would fix the "OLD EYES" issue if I could see the full size printout. The VIN GUI is really cute the first few times :) but after a while it gets annoying. I know I can turn it off - just say it and that's it. 6. I don't understand why the battery voltage is so important - it doesn't show the oscillator waveform, so what is its main purpose? - There is a voltage graph on the dedicated button which I am SURE can be used for better data/information selection. I'm sure that's fine, but just a numeric readout in the corner would do. Hey, how about adding a 1 or 2 foot OBD-2 cable extension for those times when what's available isn't long enough for convenient use? It would be cool!

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • there are errors
