I really wanted to have it because there is the possibility to set a timer and a temperature range (120-130), in addition it is easy to delete. It's beautiful and sweet. But it doesn't even reach 120, and "warm spots" are rare. I can feel the wires everywhere (I'm not saying it's bad), but I don't feel the constant heat like a "human heating pad". I have 4 cats ranging in age from 13 to 2 years old. I thought the elders would appreciate it. a little extra warmth on cold days. My 4 cats prefer their heating pad to this one - I installed the heating pad in 'their place' on the sofa and placed the self-heating pad at the other end of the sofa. In a week they are still not used - even if she was pre-warmed (so as not to sit on them cold). I also tried covering it with a light blanket because the texture is not fabric, but not too plastic either.
