Purchased to replace the original plastic clips which were beginning to become brittle and crack in the sun. I didn't use the screws that came with it, I used the stainless steel screws that came with it. What others have mentioned about not fitting into the existing holes on the old clamps. I prefer that they don't fit in the same holes. That's how I know they're getting tight. Just fill the old holes with sealant before installing these. The base of these clips covered the existing holes so it wasn't really a problem.
