Everything was great at first. My wife used it almost every day and was able to drink several cups of coffee every morning. But after a few months we noticed a crack where the handle was attached to the jug. It kept getting worse so I contacted Melitta and they replaced it immediately. But now, less than a year later, it's cracking everywhere. Around the handle, on the spout and on the side. And now it's flowing. So he's gone and I'm done with Melitta. We hand washed it and never put it in the fridge, freezer, microwave or oven. I didn't play soccer with him. It's cheap but should last more than a year. If it was only once I would write it off. But 2 out of 2 is no longer a mistake, but a pattern. Looking for the best product. I suggest you do the same.
