Melitta Pour Over 6 Cup Porcelain Coffee Maker arrived without incident. I bought this for my mother. She likes it very much. Although it is made in China, it is made under the watchful eyes of the German company Melitta. So when mom is happy, I'm happy.

I think I should have read more reviews. This product looks like an inferior fake. What was in the box does not look like what is pictured on it. The porcelain carafe is light and has imperfections in the workmanship. The filter holder is heavy and does not fit evenly on the jug. I'm disappointed. It wasn't even that cheap. Revain becomes a marketplace for shoddy, low-quality goods. Time to shop elsewhere.

Juat received his Melitta ceramic 6 cup coffee maker and I love it! The coffee is great, it took 3 minutes max to fill the carafe with little effort from the babysitter. I saw some reviews of how it arrived broken but I didn't have that problem. I found it well packaged. There were several #4 filters in the box so I was able to use them right away! Edit: Still working great after a year of use. Buy Melitta filters, other brands don't work either. Nevertheless, I recommend it.

I have a hard time believing that Melitta has anything to do with this product. Worst of all, the filters don't fit snugly to the edge of the drip cone - not even snugly. This allows coffee to seep too quickly through an opening that is too large at the bottom of the cone. The pot is unbalanced, it is inconvenient to pour from it. Simplicity is the best way I can describe this coffee maker. I like that it's made of porcelain because it's easy to clean.
