Good value table at Router Parts & Accessories

I don't do routing and wanted something that could be easily stored away when not in use. This folding table fully meets this requirement. It also comes with a nice accessory set. On the downside, the build quality isn't up to scratch. I have two main complaints. First, the plastic bit sockets that snap onto the top of the table are lower than the table top. This can cause the wood to fall off as it moves towards the bit. There is no way to adjust this height, except perhaps by making a spacer that fits between the snap ring and the table top. Second, the attractive black bar around the perimeter of the table is higher than the table itself and needs trimming. Use a router with a laminate cutter to fix this. Both can result in the wood snagging as it is pushed along the fence. The legs aren't that strong. I attached the legs to the table top and got acceptable results. The best solution would be to screw the legs to the board and press the board against the tabletop. This increases set-up time if you don't have space to store the assembled table, but it should be worth the extra stability for larger projects. The best solution would be to screw it directly onto the countertop. The manual lists several router models that fit on the mounting plate. A copy of the cooker diagram manual page is attached. As far as I could, I measured the diameter of the bolt connection for each of the four holes and marked it on the page. You can drill your own template if none of the provided hole templates will fit. The handles of the router and the cable connected to the power supply can cause interference, so choose the position of the holes carefully. The center hole is 4 inches in diameter. All in all, this is an attractive, well-designed, compact desk that's designed for occasional use and does its job well.
