Review on ๐Ÿšฝ TOTO SW2043R#01 C200 Electronic Bidet Toilet: Cleansing Water, Heated Seat, Deodorizer - Includes Warm Air Dryer & PREMIST Technology - Round, Cotton White by Kevin Singleton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Keep in mind that they require quite a bit of maintenance, including cleaning of various parts.

After a trip to Japan and familiarity with bidet style toilet seats we treat ourselves to 2 houses wherever we go. (His and Hers!) We had an electrician install an outlet next to each toilet, which cost a few hundred dollars, so be prepared for those potential additional costs. Husband easily installed 2 seats even though he had to make the trip. to the hardware store for a new flexible hose as the metal knot was crossing the threads on the plastic (as mentioned we expected this - another issue). For this factor I give 4 stars instead of 5 and if you follow the instructions the seats require a lot of maintenance compared to a regular toilet seat. (There are 6 maintenance pages in the book - see my photos attached). For example, once a month, you should unplug and clean the main unit and only wipe the main unit with a damp, soft cloth (no toilet paper or dry cloth). You should also clean the deodorizing filter, the gap between the main unit and the toilet, the main unit and the toilet lid, and the pipe once a month, and the water filter drain valve every 6 months. If you're really low maintenance, you might not like it, or maybe you just don't care! We've tried to decide on a model but settled on 'middle of the road' with the C200 and everything is fine. . (We decided we didn't want to pay extra for a night light and auto open/close on a higher model). We like having a remote control instead of an attached 'hand' like some of the lower-end models, as it looks less bulky and takes up less space in our cramped bathrooms. I keep one in the bathroom drawer next to the toilet. In another bathroom, we hung the remote control on the wall over a toilet paper roll using "wall damaging" tape from a major department store. Although we bought the long model, my husband says space is a bit limited by branches and berries, but adequate. I like the "Eco Mode" that saves a bit of energy when driving long distances without seats. When the device is in ECO mode, the yellow light on the device is on. You can adjust the seat temperature and the position of the water jet on the remote control and conveniently set it to "Custom 1" or "Custom 2". the warmth of the water as we live in an apartment that takes forever to get hot water from the tap in the sink but everything seems fine. The overall user experience is wonderful and luxurious and I will miss my toilet seats. When I travel!
