I was a little skeptical when I first received this product and installed it before the 3 stage filter system and UV light treatment tube but after a month of use I am impressed how well this filter works! I made sure to properly tighten and seal the connections to prevent leaks based on other reviewers' experiences. It is excellent at filtering out sediment and other contaminants from our well water and is very easy to clean. Due to its smaller size, I clean it once a week to ensure the best performance and proper water pressure. We have a 1 inch waterline that handles volume well when kept clean. The cleaning takes about 10 minutes total as I use an old soft bristled toothbrush and clean water in a bucket to clean in place and the total time includes the time it takes to depressurize the supply line. This product is very well designed and easy to maintain; I would recommend it to anyone with a well or questionable water supply. Just be prepared to clean it every 1-2 weeks depending on the quality of your water; but it's still worth it when you see how much cleaner your water gets.
